Timothy C. Peters was elected Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. on Aug. 1, 2024, at the 125th VFW National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
Tim served in the United States Air Force from 1981-2001, earning his VFW eligibility serving in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. In recognition of his service, he received the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, and more.
He joined the VFW in 1996 at Post 805 in O’Fallon, Illinois, later transferring to Post 10010 in East Helena, Montana, where he maintains his Gold Legacy Life membership. Read his full official biography.
